This was a study for a larger painting. Avocado and spoon 6” X 6’ Linen on wood My New Year’s resolution is to post two paintings a week--well, at least one.
This is lovely Conrad, very good job! I have so much admiration for people who work full-time, are raising a family and on top of all that, teach themselves to paint! WOW! I have been on your site before and especially liked the colors and shadows on the house.

That avocado pit is perfection! Exact color and that slight oily sheen. How big are you planning to do the final image?
